- cTrader alternative
cTrader, reconsidered. A focused terminal.
cTrader is a serious platform with depth of market you can trade from, algorithmic trading in C# and Python, and copy trading. Mizora Pro is narrower on purpose: a browser terminal for manual traders, with the risk and review tools built in. Here is where each one fits.
Breadth against focus.
cTrader is developed by Spotware and offered by brokers and prop firms, with apps for Windows, Mac, the web, iOS and Android. It has a lot going for it. Its help centre documents four order types (market, limit, stop and stop-limit), a trailing stop loss for all order types, and three kinds of depth of market, two of which you can trade from. cTrader Algo lets you build cBots, custom indicators and plugins in C# or Python, and cTrader Copy lets you copy other traders' strategies.
Mizora Pro does not try to match that breadth. It is a browser terminal for traders who make every decision by hand, and it spends its effort on the screen those traders use all day: a chart with a modelled order flow workspace beside it, a keyboard-driven ticket, a loss limit drawn on the chart, and a record built for review.
There is also a structural difference. cTrader connects to an account with a broker or prop firm. Mizora Pro is the terminal for Mizora accounts, which trade simulated capital, and it does not connect to any broker.

What moving from cTrader looks like.
cTrader users are used to a clean, modern layout, so the jump is smaller than from MetaTrader. The main changes are in the order book and in how you size positions.
- The DOM is for reading, not clicking. This is the change to take seriously. In cTrader, Price DOM and VWAP DOM let you place orders from the table. In Mizora Pro, the DOM ladder is in Beta, modelled from live prices rather than exchange depth, and you cannot trade from it. You place orders from the ticket, the chart or the keyboard.
- Orders are simpler. Market, limit, stop and bracket, where the bracket sets a stop loss and take profit in ticks on a market entry. There is no stop-limit, no trailing stop and no multiple take profit targets. You can close 50% of a position or all of it.
- Sizing is in dollars. USD notional, with presets for a share of buying power or a percentage of the account at risk. See orders and execution.
- Keyboard first. Shift+B and Shift+S to trade, Cmd or Ctrl+K for the command palette, G for the four-chart grid. Every shortcut.
- Your cBots stay behind. Mizora Pro does not run C# or Python code of any kind.
Built around the manual trader's day.
- One app, in the browser. No desktop version to keep in step with the web one. The same terminal runs on a laptop, a Chromebook or a phone.
- Order flow views beside the chart. Footprint, liquidity heatmap, delta, imbalances, time and sales, and signals for stacked imbalances, absorption and large prints. Modelled from live prices, not exchange depth, and labelled Beta.
- Your loss limit as a line. A DAILY LIMIT or MAX LOSS line at the exact price where the account would breach, previewed on hover before you buy or sell. A rules panel shows daily loss room and the drawdown floor.
- Server-priced fills and server-side orders. Every fill uses the server's live quote; resting orders, stops and targets are watched on the server when the browser is closed.
- Practice and review. Bar replay with practice trades, a track record with profit factor, expectancy and max drawdown, journal notes, Dojo lessons, and verified trade cards drawn by the server.
- A free place to start. A $50K practice account with no card, on the same terminal as paid accounts.
Where cTrader is the right call.
- Trading from depth of market. cTrader's Price DOM and VWAP DOM let you trade from the book. Mizora Pro has no click-to-trade book, and its order flow views are modelled, not real depth.
- Algorithmic trading. cTrader Algo supports cBots, custom indicators and plugins in C# or Python, and the cTrader Store sells and shares them. Mizora Pro has no automation.
- Richer orders. Stop-limit orders, a trailing stop loss for every order type and multiple take profit targets.
- Copy trading of other people. cTrader Copy lets you follow other traders' strategies. Mizora Pro copy trading works only between your own accounts.
- Broker choice and native apps. cTrader is offered by brokers and prop firms, with desktop and mobile apps. Mizora Pro is only for Mizora accounts and is web-only.
Which one should you use?
If you need to trade from the depth of market, run cBots or use stop-limit and trailing orders, cTrader is the better platform. If you trade by hand, want order flow context, your loss limit on the chart and a record you can review and verify, all in one browser tab, Mizora Pro is a focused cTrader alternative.
Mizora Pro is free to use on a $50K practice account. Paid 30-day Pro packages include Mizora Flip accounts; see the plans and the account rules. See all comparisons, or Mizora Pro vs MT5.
