- Price alerts
Stop watching. Let the server watch.
Price alerts in Mizora Pro are server-side: set one from the chart's right-click menu and the server watches the level around the clock, with an optional email when price gets there. Your browser does not need to stay open.
An alert that works when you are not there.
Many alerts only fire while the page or program that set them is running. Close the laptop and the alert goes quiet, which is exactly when you needed it.
Mizora Pro keeps alerts on the server. Once set, an alert is watched against the live price feed whether your browser is open, closed or on another device. You can have up to 50 live alerts at a time across the markets you follow.
Right-click, set, done.
- Open the chart for the market you want to watch.
- Right-click at the price level you care about.
- Choose to set an alert from the menu, and turn on email if you want a message when it triggers.
Because alerts are set on the chart, they go where your analysis already is: on the level you drew, the prior day's high, the VWAP band or the edge of a volume profile range.
A message in your inbox.
Email is optional on each alert. With it on, a triggered alert reaches you on your phone or any device where you read mail, even if Mizora Pro is not open anywhere. When you get it, open the terminal in any browser, including on your phone with the mobile layout, and decide what to do.
Four alerts worth setting.
The level before the trade
You have a plan to buy a retest of a level. Set the alert there instead of waiting at the screen.
The level that kills the idea
Set an alert where your view would be wrong, so you know to stop looking for the trade.
The session extremes
Alerts on the prior high and low tell you when the market is doing something new.
Overnight markets
Crypto trades around the clock. Alerts cover the hours you sleep.
Alerts and market hours.
Not every market is open when you are awake. The watchlist shows each market's hours state, and alerts fill the gaps between sessions:
- Index futures. Mark the overnight high and low on NQ or ES and let the alerts tell you which side breaks first.
- Gold and oil. Set alerts on the levels that matter for the next session rather than watching every tick in between.
- Forex. EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDJPY often move at the session handovers. An alert at the range edge saves hours of watching a quiet chart.
- Crypto. BTCUSD, ETHUSD and SOLUSD trade around the clock, including weekends.
With up to 50 live alerts, the limit is rarely the problem. The discipline is setting fewer, better alerts on levels you would actually act on.
When to alert, when to order.
An alert tells you price arrived. A resting order acts on it. Both run on the server, so the choice is about whether you want to decide at the level or have already decided.
- Use an alert when you want to see how price behaves at the level before committing, for example to read the order flow there.
- Use a limit or stop order when the plan is complete and you would take the trade whatever you saw. Add a stop loss and take profit so the position is protected from the moment it fills. See orders and execution.
