- Bar replay
Trade yesterday as if it were today.
Bar replay trading in Mizora Pro hides the future and plays the market back one bar at a time. Take practice trades as the session unfolds, then read the log to see whether your decisions held up.
Screen time without waiting for the market.
Most traders learn by watching live sessions, which means waiting for the right setup and getting one or two chances a day. Market replay practice compresses that. You pick a point in the past, the chart hides everything to the right, and the bars arrive one by one as if the session were live.
Because you cannot see what comes next, you have to make the decision the same way you would in real time: read the structure, decide, place the trade, and manage it. Looking at a finished chart and saying you would have bought the low is easy. Replay takes that hindsight away.
Four timeframes, four speeds.
Replay runs on the 5m, 15m, 1H and 4H charts. Lower timeframes suit practising entries and trade management; the hour and four-hour suit practising patience and structure.
Play the session at 1x, 3x, 8x or 20x, or step manually. Use the fast speeds to move through quiet periods and drop to 1x or single steps when price reaches a level you care about.
- Space play or pause
- Right arrow next bar
- B buy, S sell, C close
Keeping your hands on the keys makes replay feel closer to live trading. The rest of the terminal's keys are on the keyboard shortcuts page.
Every practice trade, written down.
Practice trades in replay are recorded in a log, so a replay session ends with something to review rather than a vague sense of how it went. Go back through the entries and ask the questions that matter:
- Did I enter where my plan said I would, or did I chase?
- Was my stop where the idea was wrong, or just where the loss felt comfortable?
- Did I take the target, move it, or give the trade back?
Write the answer to the most useful question in your trading journal with a Review or Rule tag. Over a few sessions the notes become a short list of habits to fix.
Three ways to use replay well.
One setup, many times
Pick a single setup, such as a pullback to VWAP, and replay session after session looking only for that. Repetition builds recognition faster than variety.
Replay your losses
Go back to a day you lost money live. Replay it from the open and see whether you would make the same call without the pressure of a real position.
Size discipline
Decide your risk per trade before you press play, and use the position sizing method you use live. Replay is practice for process, not just for direction.
Two kinds of practice.
The free $50K practice account lets you trade the live market with simulated capital. Replay lets you trade the past. They train different things:
- Live practice trains patience and real-time pressure. You wait for setups as they come.
- Replay trains recognition and repetition. You can see ten sessions of one setup in an evening.
Use both. Replay to learn what a setup looks like, live practice to learn whether you take it when it appears.
Part of the review loop.
Replay is one of three review tools in Mizora Pro. The track record tells you what happened in your live trading. Replay lets you practise the fix. The Dojo lessons, especially the chapter called Review the decision, give you a structure for doing both.
Replay uses the same chart, indicators and drawing tools as live trading, so the levels you mark and the way you read them carry straight over when the market is open.
Mizora Pro is free to use on a $50K practice account. Paid 30-day Pro packages include Mizora Flip accounts; see the plans.
