PLATFORM / RISK

See the line before you cross it.

The risk manager in Mizora Pro draws your daily loss limit on the chart at the exact price where your account would breach it. Add a rules panel, a position-size calculator and an edge calculator, and risk stops being a number you work out afterwards.

01 / THE LINE

Your limit, drawn in price.

Account rules are usually written in dollars: a daily loss limit, a maximum loss. Trades are managed in price. Most traders convert between the two in their head, under pressure, and get it wrong at the worst moment.

Mizora Pro does the conversion for you. A line labelled DAILY LIMIT or MAX LOSS sits on the chart at the price where your account would breach. When you hover over Buy or Sell, the terminal previews where that line would be for the trade you are about to place, before you commit.

  • If your planned stop sits beyond the line, the trade can end your day before it reaches the stop. Resize it or skip it.
  • If the line is close to the current price, you have little room left. That is information, not a challenge.
02 / RULES PANEL

How much room you have, right now.

The rules panel shows two numbers that decide whether you should be trading at all:

Daily loss room

How much more you can lose today before the daily limit is reached.

Drawdown floor

The account equity level you must stay above. Your maximum loss boundary.

A server-side worker watches account limits around the clock, even with your browser closed. The panel shows you what the server is watching. The rules for each account type are published in the Flip account rules.

03 / POSITION SIZE

Size from the stop, not from a feeling.

The Tools tab has a position-size calculator that works four ways:

  1. By ticks. Enter your stop distance in ticks.
  2. By percent. Enter the share of the account you are willing to risk.
  3. By price. Enter your entry and stop prices directly.
  4. By ATR. Base the stop on current volatility, measured by the average true range.

For quicker sizing on the ticket, size presets set the order to risk 0.25, 0.5, 1 or 2% of the account, or to a share of buying power. Our position sizing guide explains why a fixed percentage risk keeps a losing streak survivable.

04 / EDGE

Check the maths behind the method.

The edge calculator takes a win rate and a reward-to-risk ratio and shows whether the combination makes money over time. A strategy that wins 40% of the time can be sound at 2 to 1, and one that wins 60% of the time can lose money if the winners are small.

Use it with real numbers. The track record gives you your actual win rate, profit factor and expectancy, so you can test your own edge instead of the one you hope you have.

05 / ROUTINE

A pre-trade routine in four checks.

  1. Open the rules panel. If daily loss room is small, trade smaller or stop.
  2. Mark your stop on the chart where the idea is wrong.
  3. Size the trade from that stop with the calculator or a risk preset.
  4. Hover Buy or Sell and check the preview line sits well beyond your stop.

The Dojo teaches this sequence in the chapters Build the risk before the order and Find the loss boundary. Once the trade is on, drag the stop on the chart as needed; the order types page covers how.

06 / FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is a daily loss limit?
A daily loss limit is the most an account may lose in one trading day. In Mizora Pro it is drawn on the chart as a DAILY LIMIT line at the price where your account would reach it.
How do I calculate position size for a trade?
Decide how much of the account to risk, measure the distance to your stop, and divide. The position-size calculator in the Tools tab does this by ticks, percent, price or ATR. See our position sizing guide.
Does the risk manager work when my browser is closed?
The line and panel are views in the terminal. The limits themselves are watched by a server-side worker around the clock, whether or not your browser is open.
What does the edge calculator do?
It combines a win rate and a reward-to-risk ratio to show whether a method has a positive expectancy over many trades.
