After MetaTrader 4. A terminal, not a toolkit.
MetaTrader 4 is built around automated forex trading, with a large library of robots and indicators around it. Mizora Pro is a different kind of tool: a browser terminal for traders who make every decision themselves. Here is an honest comparison.
Familiar goals. A different design.
MetaTrader 4 is the older of the two MetaQuotes platforms. Its own site describes a desktop terminal with 9 timeframes, built-in technical indicators and analytical objects, a Strategy Tester, and the MQL4 language for writing trading strategies, plus web trading and apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. Around it sits a large ecosystem: metatrader4.com points to thousands of free robots and indicators in its Code Base and a Market of paid ones.
If that ecosystem is why you use MT4, you probably should not switch. But many traders on MT4 never run a robot. They open a chart, draw a level, place an order and manage it by hand. For that workflow, a lot of MT4 is overhead, and a lot of what a modern day trader wants is missing from the screen: order flow views, a live view of the account's loss limit, a trade record that reads like a report, and a terminal that works the same on a laptop and a phone.
That is the gap Mizora Pro fills. One important difference up front: MT4 is offered by brokers and connects to your brokerage account. Mizora Pro is the terminal for Mizora accounts, which trade simulated capital, and it does not connect to any broker.

What moving from MT4 looks like.
MT4 traders tend to have a routine: Market Watch on the left, a few charts tiled in the middle, the Terminal window along the bottom, and an order window that pops up when you want to trade. Mizora Pro keeps the same jobs but puts them in fixed panels, so nothing needs arranging.
- Market Watch becomes the watchlist, with search and a market-hours state for each of the 13 tradable markets.
- Tiled charts become the four-chart grid. Press G. Preset workspaces for scalp, swing and macro set the layout for you.
- The order window becomes an always-on ticket. Choose market, limit, stop or bracket, and size by a share of buying power or a percentage of the account at risk. Shift+B and Shift+S trade from the keyboard. See the shortcuts.
- Lots become USD notional. Position size is shown in dollars, which makes risk easier to read across gold, indices and crypto on one account.
- The Terminal window becomes positions, orders and the record. Close half or in full, flatten everything, or cancel one pending order or all of them.
- Drawing tools map closely. Trend line (T), horizontal level (H), Fibonacci (F), rectangle (R), measure (M) and text (N), with magnet snap to OHLC.
What you will lose: your Expert Advisors, custom indicators and scripts will not come with you, and there is no trailing stop. What changes in habit: pressing the opposite side closes your position rather than opening a hedge.
A newer screen for manual traders.
- The browser is the full product. MT4's web trading, per metatrader4.com, offers 9 timeframes and 30 indicators. Mizora Pro has one version, and it is the browser version, with the same order flow, risk and review tools on desktop and phone.
- Order flow views. Footprint, liquidity heatmap, delta, imbalances, a DOM ladder and tape. They are in Beta and modelled from live prices, not exchange depth. Read how they work.
- Risk you can see. The risk manager draws a DAILY LIMIT or MAX LOSS line at the price where the account would breach, before you place the trade.
- Server-side orders and fills. Limit and stop orders rest on the server and a worker watches stops, targets and limits around the clock. Every fill uses the server's live quote.
- Markets beyond forex on one ticket. Nasdaq 100, S&P 500 and Russell 2000 futures, WTI crude, gold and silver, three FX pairs and three crypto pairs. See all markets.
- Review built in. Bar replay, a track record with profit factor and expectancy, journal notes and verified trade cards.
Where MetaTrader 4 still wins.
- Automation and its ecosystem. MQL4, Expert Advisors, a Strategy Tester, and thousands of free robots and indicators in the Code Base. Mizora Pro has no automation of any kind.
- Broker choice. MT4 is offered by brokers, so the platform moves with you. Mizora Pro works only with Mizora accounts.
- More timeframes. MT4 has 9 timeframes to Mizora Pro's six.
- Trailing stop. MT4 lists a trailing stop. Mizora Pro does not have one.
- More forex pairs. Mizora Pro trades three FX pairs. If you trade crosses and exotics, a broker's MT4 may list many more.
- Native apps. MT4 has app-store apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. Mizora Pro is a responsive web app with no app-store version.
Which one should you use?
If you run Expert Advisors or rely on the MT4 library, stay on MT4, or look at MT5. If you trade by hand and MT4 has become a habit rather than a choice, Mizora Pro gives you a cleaner screen, modelled order flow views, a visible loss limit and a real trade record, in a browser tab, with a free $50K practice account to try it.
Mizora Pro is free to use on a $50K practice account. Paid 30-day Pro packages include Mizora Flip accounts; see the plans and the account rules. Also compare Mizora Pro vs MT5 and Mizora Pro vs TradeLocker.
