Short, neutral guides to the order flow and charting tools traders talk about most: what each one measures, how to read it, where it misleads, and how it appears inside Mizora Pro.

01 / WHY LEARN THIS

Tools are only as good as your reading of them.

A footprint chart or a volume profile can look like an edge on its own. It is not. Each tool answers one narrow question, such as where volume traded, who was more aggressive, or where the average participant is positioned, and each one has blind spots. These guides explain both.

They are written to be accurate and neutral. Where a concept depends on data that a platform may or may not have, we say so, including about our own terminal.

02 / ORDER FLOW

Reading pressure, not just price.

Order flow tools look inside the candle at the trades and orders behind it. Start with the footprint chart, which shows volume at each price inside a bar, then delta and cumulative delta, which measure aggressive buying against aggressive selling. The liquidity heatmap and the depth of market show resting orders rather than trades.

In Mizora Pro, the order flow workspace is in Beta and modelled from live prices, not exchange depth or tick data. The guides explain the real concepts and then say exactly how the terminal's version differs.

03 / LEVELS AND RISK

Where price matters, and how much to risk there.

Volume profile shows where a session did most of its business, with the point of control and value area. VWAP gives the volume-weighted average price that many intraday traders use as a benchmark. Both are indicators on the Mizora Pro chart.

None of it matters without position sizing: turning a stop distance and a fixed risk per trade into the right size, every time.

04 / PRACTISE

Learn it. Then test it.

Every tool in these guides is in the terminal. Try them on a free $50K practice account with no card, replay past sessions in bar replay, or follow the guided lessons in the Dojo. Mizora Pro accounts trade simulated capital.

06 / FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is order flow trading?
Order flow trading means reading the trades and orders behind price movement, such as volume at each price, aggressive buying against selling and resting liquidity, rather than price alone.
Where should a beginner start?
With position sizing, then VWAP and volume profile. Order flow tools are easier to read once you know where the important levels are.
Are the order flow tools in Mizora Pro based on exchange data?
No. The order flow workspace in Mizora Pro is in Beta and modelled from live prices, not exchange depth or tick data. The terminal says so on screen.
Can I practise these tools for free?
Yes. Mizora Pro is free to use on a $50K practice account with no card required. Accounts trade simulated capital.
